Testimonials

"I am grace. I am free. I am fierce."

"He revealed the key to unlock forgiveness. He revealed who my real enemy is. He revealed His fierce love for me. He revealed who I am. I am known."

"I am a child of God. I have a renewed spirit that is ready and willing to seek God in relationship on a daily basis."

"I have confidence that God is by my side, that He loves me unconditionally, and that He will never go away."

"I have found a new identity in Christ. I've known Him for a long time, but I always felt like I had to perform perfectly and found myself running away/hiding (like that works) from God because I felt so much shame and guilt. To know that I have been pursued since the day I was born by God and nothing I do changes that is a very freeing thing!"

"I walked away from Pursued with a sense of freedom I have never experienced before; forgiveness, yes, but not freedom. I now can experience a daily presence with my Savior."

"I am more rested, less weary, and at peace. I am loved by God. I am His daughter. My heart is softer, and I have a more gentle spirit."

"I feel more love for my Father and a closer, more intimate relationship with Him."

FAQ

  • WHAT IS PURSUED?

Our vision is to provide a 48-hour opportunity for women of all ages to seek and encounter God on a personal level.

  • WHAT DO YOU DO ON A PURSUED WEEKEND?

There is a general framework for every weekend experience; however, the details often differ as each weekend is tailored towards the needs of those attending and according to the leading of the Holy Spirit.  The general framework includes: Community with fellow sisters, time alone with God, prayer, communion, fasting, study of the Word, worship in song, and teaching. Your weekend will include a group of up to twelve women participating with you.

  • IS PURSUED A RETREAT?

This weekend experience is not a retreat as normally defined (recreational activity, rest, and relaxation). In keeping with the purpose and mission of the weekend, our time is utilized to seek after the Father and to receive all He has for you. You should expect to focus on encountering the Living God and you should expect Him to show up in powerful ways as you do so.

  • DO I HAVE TO BE AT A CERTAIN PLACE IN MY CHRISTIAN WALK WITH CHRIST TO GO ON PURSUED?

No. Our infinite God has demonstrated time and again that He is both willing and able to meet women exactly as they are and wherever they are in their walk.

  • IS THERE ANY PREP WORK BEFORE THE WEEKEND?

Yes. Twenty-one days of prep work is included. The prep work is designed to draw you closer to your Heavenly Father and prepare you for the weekend.

  • WHEN DO WE LEAVE AND WHEN DO WE RETURN?

We depart from the Altamesa church building at 2:30 p.m. on the Friday of your event, and we arrive back at the Altamesa church building at 5:30 p.m. on the Sunday of your event.

CAN I DRIVE MYSELF TO THE RANCH?

No, participants are not allowed to drive themselves to the ranch. Transportation is provided for each weekend, and you will be notified of the location for departure at least a week before the departure date.

  • WHERE IS PURSUED HELD?

The weekend experience is held at the beautiful Hi Point Ranch in Eastland County (about 1.5 hours west of Fort Worth off of I-20).  Hi Point Ranch includes approximately 900 acres of land and beautiful housing facilities.
